Supervision & Training

Consultation and Supervision

I am passionate about consultation and supervision. I believe that a good consultation is more than a professional question and answer session.  Consultation should help you understand how people heal and also deepen your own therapeutic stance. As an EFT Supervisor I work to strengthen your skills in working with present moment attachment and process. Watching video recordings of your work is an important part of the learning. I help therapists explore their own personal blocks that come up in their work. I provide a space that is nurturing and supportive of this learning and growth. I have supervised pre-licensure therapists as well as seasoned therapists from all mental health disciplines.  I am grounded in attachment theory and EFT in my supervisor role, but I also use my gestalt background, mindfulness, and yoga therapy.

Training

When it comes to teaching EFT, I have a passion for making the model accessible to more people. I try to simplify things where I can and to consider different learning styles and backgrounds in the way I approach the material. I have special interests in trauma, yoga therapy, and self of therapist supervision. I am developing Equity EFT which is an approach to attachment focused relational work that centers also identity, race, culture and context. I am interested in growing the model of EFT and dealing with issues of power, race and culture.
